Train System Engineer - Mechanical Brakes

As a Train System Engineer - Mechanical Brakes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trains. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will be applied to the design, development, and implementation of brake systems for our current and future projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and specify brake system requirements for current and future projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement brake control and fluid power systems.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality brake components.
  • Conduct static and running performance tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for brake systems.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or relevant professional certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in rolling stock brake systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
