Position Overview

As a key figure in our organization, you will oversee the daily operations of the community nursing service, ensuring high standards of care and support for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the Community Nursing service.
  • Mentor and empower staff to enhance their professional skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver compassionate and structured care.
  • Innovate and adapt the Community Service to meet future challenges and demands.
  • Plan and coordinate treatment in partnership with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse - Adult.
  • Specialist Practitioner qualification in District Nursing or equivalent experience with leadership training.
  • Proven experience in community nursing at Band 6 level.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and involvement in change management.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate difficult conversations.
