Job Title: Supply Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supply Teacher to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education and creating a positive learning environment for students when their regular teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to facilitate student learning and engagement.
  • Maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the school day and provide constructive feedback to regular teaching staff on student progress.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Teacher or Classroom Teacher, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Valid DBS clearance or willingness to undergo checks.
