Job Title: Supply Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supply Teacher to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education and creating a positive learning environment for students when their regular teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to facilitate student learning and engagement.
  • Maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient school day.
  • Provide constructive feedback to regular teaching staff on students' progress and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective running of the school day and support the achievement of educational goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Teacher or Classroom Teacher, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality education.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt to different teaching environments and student needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or a willingness to undergo checks.
