Step Teachers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Supply Teacher to provide high-quality education support in the East London region. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted learning and creating a positive learning environment for students when their regular teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to facilitate student learning and achievement.
  • Maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient school day.
  • Provide constructive feedback to regular teaching staff on students' progress and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive team approach.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Teacher or Classroom Teacher, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Valid DBS clearance or willingness to undergo checks, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
