About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Business Development Executive to join our team at Howden Insurance Brokers Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and secure new education partnerships with independent schools and educational establishments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing solutions to their insurance needs.
  • Attend key conferences and events to generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting using CRM systems.
  • Support the wider team in managing relationships with key partners and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a sales or business development role.
  • Strong understanding of general and legal principles of insurance, as well as relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage own diary and workload effectively.
  • Computer literate and proficient in CRM systems.
