Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Financial Operations Manager within a well-established private equity-backed software as a service (SAAS) organization.

This role presents a unique challenge, where you will oversee the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes. As this is a newly established position, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to facilitate the company's growth strategy, particularly as the private equity firm aims to pursue additional acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enhance financial automation processes using Sage Line 50 Cloud.
  • Manage a multi-entity structure, producing both standalone and consolidated financial reports for operations in the UK, Canada, and India.
  • Support the CFO in strategic business planning, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and management.
  • Oversee cost capture processes.
  • Streamline bank account integrations and optimize payment processing and reconciliation.
  • Facilitate payroll integration.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset register and oversee asset tracking.
  • Manage the audit process effectively.
  • Assist in the integration of future mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in producing management accounts, budgeting, and financial analysis within a small to medium-sized enterprise.
  • Experience in sectors such as SAAS, technology, or private equity-backed firms is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven track record in establishing processes and procedures.
