Senior Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Hays Accountancy and Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to support the growth and success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the production of all accounting documents to facilitate board reporting functions for all financial functions of the firm.
- Input sales and purchases onto SAP and manage day-to-day reporting required for the business.
- Process invoices and credit notes, organise payments and manage credit control.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Liaise with an external accountant and assist in the preparation of year-end accounts.
- Provide reports and updates to the Management Team, as required.
- Manage Accountants and KPI analysis.
- Adhoc commercial reports for the senior leadership team.
- HR administration.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance function within the Engineering sector.
- Understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficient in the use of SAP and Excel.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels.
