Job Summary:
Hays Senior Finance is partnering exclusively with a leading SME family-owned engineering business based in Gloucestershire. We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the production of all accounting documents to facilitate board reporting functions.
- Input sales and purchases onto SAP and manage day-to-day reporting.
- Process invoices and credit notes, organise payments, and manage credit control.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Liaise with an external accountant and assist in the preparation of year-end accounts.
- Provide reports and updates to the Management Team.
- Manage Accountants and KPI analysis.
- Ad-hoc commercial reports for the senior leadership team.
- HR administration.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance function within the Engineering sector.
- Understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficient in the use of SAP and Excel.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels.
