About the Role

Hays Senior Finance is partnering with a well-established and successful manufacturing group to recruit a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner based in their Stonehouse, Gloucestershire office.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with operational management to provide daily/weekly/monthly performance analysis on key business metrics.
  • Drive/support bottom line improvements by business partnering with the operational team.
  • Provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to business strategies.
  • Act as a financial advisor, offering general financial support to commercial decision makers.
  • Take ownership of operational budgets and implement weekly/monthly reporting to the business on KPI's, with emphasis on cost per unit metrics.
  • Prepare month-end variance analysis and undertake project-based work for specific strategies/business initiatives.
  • Be involved in internal/external audit and ad-hoc duties and financial analysis.
  • Deputise for the Finance Manager when required.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this progressive Finance Business Partner role, you will be part qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience with business partnering experience.

Strong MS Excel skills, effective communication skills to partner at all levels both internally/externally and with non-financial management, with the capacity to influence others are essential.

You will be accurate and numerate, willing to learn, and keen to develop further in your accounting career.

Experience with SAP and within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous but not essential.

What You'll Get in Return

This permanent Finance Business Partner role is offering a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
