About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Indie Campers in Newbridge, Edinburgh. As a key member of our depot team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the exceptional maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of campervans.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance procedures according to OEM guidelines.
- Support the management of all Edinburgh-based fleet activities.
- Monitor fleet availability and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to optimize downtime and costs.
- Review and manage fleet damages to control procedures and next steps.
- Collaborate with the Customer Excellence team to resolve fleet-related issues.
- Ensure vehicles receive optimal interventions and update the HQ Fleet team accordingly.
- Maintain high standards in all fleet-related procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-year experience in vehicle maintenance/repair, preferably in Rent-a-Car or Automotive Repair Shop.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to prioritize and be organized.
- English proficiency and good communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
