The Role

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our team at our Edinburgh depot. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our campervan fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance procedures on our campervans, adhering to OEM guidelines.
  • Support the management of all fleet-related activities in Edinburgh.
  • Monitor fleet availability and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Review and address fleet damages, implementing procedures to optimize vehicle maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Excellence team to resolve fleet-related issues on the road.
  • Ensure vehicles receive optimal maintenance, updating the HQ Fleet team on interventions.
  • Maintain high standards in all fleet-related procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in vehicle maintenance/repair, preferably in the rent-a-car or automotive repair industry.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and English proficiency.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
