About the Job

We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at b-spokes Deliveries Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our fleet of over 300 vans across Scotland and the North of England.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with legal requirements.
  2. Oversee the completion and updating of fleet check sheets as instructed by the Fleet Manager.
  3. Assist with in-house driver training programs and provide support for new and existing drivers.
  4. Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks and record driver changeovers in the database.
  5. Document and report any damage, fuel, or valet charges and liaise with Fleet and Finance Managers.

Requirements

  • Motor vehicle mechanic qualification or strong vehicle maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance/repair, preferably in Rent-a-Car or automotive repair.
  • Ability to assess vehicles for legal compliance and damage.
  • Competence in using PCs, including MS Excel, Word, and email.
  • Valid, clean driving license.
