Job Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Attend meetings with clients and prospects to showcase technical abilities and provide expert guidance on IT solutions.
  2. Collaborate with various teams to identify technical and business requirements, design IT solutions, and provide input on new products.
  3. Develop and deliver technical presentations, both internally and externally, to promote and quote technical solutions, managed services, and support services.
  4. Work closely with project delivery teams to create scopes of work and ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Provide technical specialist support in areas such as Microsoft Server/365/Azure, HPe Server/Storage, Aruba Switching, Dell Server/Storage, SonicWALL Firewall/Switching, Ruckus Wi-Fi/Switching, and other leading specialist vendors.

Requirements:

  1. Confident Pre Sales Engineer with experience in a similar position, or an IT Consultant/Engineer with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of commercial business.
  2. Experience with MS 365 and Azure, Virtualisation (VMWare vSphere, Hyper-V), Storage SANs (HP MSA/Nimble - Dell MD), Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Switching (including dynamic routing and dynamic VLANS), Firewalling and perimeter security (Next gen firewalls), and Good understanding of communication networks (Lease Line Radio - FTTP - etc).
  3. Full Clean UK driving license, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Professional in appearance, and Good commercial acumen.
  4. Experience of actively driving and managing the pre sales process, Good attention to detail and problem solving skills, and Comfortable in a working from home environment.
