We are pleased to announce a vacancy within our team located in Carlisle & District ICCs, also collaborating with specialist services within the Community Collaborative.

As a Lead Specialist in the Community Collaborative, you will be instrumental in connecting Integrated Care Communities (ICCs) with Specialist services to effectively address the operational needs of our community collaborative. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels in guiding teams through projects and tailored initiatives to foster innovation and teamwork.

In your capacity as a team lead, you will be crucial in coordinating and enhancing the delivery of healthcare services, ensuring that patients receive personalized care of the highest standard. Your knowledge and leadership will empower team members to succeed in their roles, nurturing a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth and development.

This position may transition to a permanent role pending further approval.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist other Leads, including Service Managers, in executing tailored projects or enhancing team performance. You will become a vital part of the senior leadership team for the ICCs, contributing to the management and leadership of community nurses and therapists.

  • Assume delegated responsibility for critical areas of service delivery, such as operational and performance management concerning constitutional standard waiting times and achieving financial sustainability.
  • Actively contribute to meeting objectives within both corporate and collaborative agendas.
  • Participate in any shift system associated with this role outside of standard working hours to meet the needs of the base service and the broader Trust. These arrangements may vary depending on Trust requirements to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Be prepared for changes in portfolios based on Trust requirements to support effective service delivery.
  • The post holder will be expected to operate across multiple locations.
