About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Paediatrician to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Paediatrician, you will play a vital role in providing specialist paediatric services to children and young people in Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage children with developmental difficulties and disability, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Provide health assessments for children looked after, children being adopted, and children being assessed for an Education, Health and Care Plan.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals and agencies to provide a comprehensive service to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement service development plans to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Cumbria.
Requirements
  • MB or equivalent qualification.
  • MRPCH or equivalent qualification.
  • Full registration with the GMC.
  • Experience of paediatrics and community paediatrics.
  • Special interest in community child health.
