We are excited to present this opportunity to advance your career within our supportive and vibrant Physical Health Psychology Service. Our team comprises psychologists, psychotherapists, and counselors dedicated to helping individuals adapt to and find innovative solutions for managing physical health challenges. The Physical Health Psychology Service operates across multiple regions, and we are currently seeking candidates for various roles due to recent service enhancements and staff advancements.

Key Responsibilities

We invite applications from both seasoned professionals and those newly qualified (or soon to be qualified) in psychology. The successful candidate will be classified according to their experience and will receive a tailored and structured professional development program. While experience in a physical health environment is preferred, we are also interested in candidates from other specialties who possess transferable skills. The essential attributes include strong communication abilities, collaborative work ethic, and creative problem-solving skills.

The successful candidates will join a welcoming and enthusiastic team of practitioner psychologists and other psychological professionals who employ a diverse range of therapeutic techniques. Opportunities for continuing professional development and supervision across various models, including EMDR, psychodynamic, attachment, humanistic, and third-wave approaches, will be available. In each position, you will collaborate with a Principal Psychologist and other applied psychologists, supported by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. A robust leadership and supervision framework is established, alongside operational management.
