We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Clinical Psychologist to become an integral part of our team, with a primary focus on enhancing the emotional health and wellbeing of vulnerable youth, particularly those in care and transitioning from care. This role is vital in delivering direct support and expert guidance, collaborating closely with children, foster families, residential caregivers, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized psychological evaluations and interventions tailored to meet the mental health requirements of children and adolescents engaged in our programs.
- Provide consultative support and training to foster parents and residential staff to enhance their caregiving practices.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to design and execute individualized care plans that foster secure attachments and mitigate the risk of placement disruptions.
- Perform risk assessments and contribute to a psychologically-informed care framework across diverse settings.
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a related discipline; registration with a recognized professional body is essential.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record in multi-agency collaboration.
- Familiarity with Care Planning and relevant models of care is advantageous.
