Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to children with complex neuro-developmental conditions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver assessments and interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for students.
- Conduct thorough assessments, using evidence-based practices to inform diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of psychological services into the educational setting.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in psychology, attending relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, or Educational Psychology.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with complex needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the schools and students.
