Clinical Psychologist

At Arcadia Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessment and treatment to patients admitted to our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their psychological needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions to patients with eating disorders, including cognitive behavioural therapy and other approaches.
- Supervise and support psychology assistants and other staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development of in-service training programs and ensure that staff receive regular training and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in the Unit's Senior Management Team and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide managerial and clinical supervision to psychology assistants and other staff.
- Manage day-to-day resources and ensure adherence to financial limits.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of working with patients with eating disorders and other mental health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Mental Health Act 1983.
