As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver educational activities and provide individualized support to students with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with SEND in their learning
* Assist students with emotional and behavioral challenges
* Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help
* Assist with classroom preparation and organization

Ideal Qualifications:

* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Experience working with students with ASC, SEMH, or other SEND Needs

Experience:

* Experience in a similar role within an educational setting or private setting

Knowledge and Skills:

* Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
* Ability to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges
* Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* First Aid certification
* Training in managing challenging behavior

Working Conditions:

* Full-time hours
* Contract-based employment
* Work within an educational setting in Mitcham, Greater London
