Position : Care Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Observing and recording patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
  • Supporting the delivery of patient care as instructed by the Registered Nurse.

Required Qualifications

Essential

  • Candidates must provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification.
  • Acceptable evidence includes:
  • Student Nurse with a minimum of 12 weeks clinical placements.
  • Care Certificate from an NHS organization.
  • QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued post-2011.
  • QCF Level 2 or above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued post-2011.
  • QCF Level 3 or above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued post-2011 (for Paediatric & Maternity roles only).
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing without current NMC Registration.

Experience Requirements

Essential

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as an Acute Healthcare Support Worker in the UK (Private, NHS, or Armed Forces) within the last 2 years.
