About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at WR Logistics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional customer service and support
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our services remain competitive
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the logistics and transportation industry
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding and logistics operations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- High level of IT literacy and proficiency in CRM systems
