About the Role
- As a Systems Presales Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the sales process.
- You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Responsibilities will include designing and architecting technical solutions, building and maintaining technical engagement plans, and acting as a subject matter expert on Oracle technology.
- You will also be responsible for driving alignment with our account sales representatives, working as a team to define and drive sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, helping them to understand and implement Oracle technology.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Design and architect technical solutions, building and maintaining technical engagement plans.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Oracle technology, providing guidance and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive alignment with account sales representatives, working as a team to define and drive sales strategies.
Requirements
- Broad technical experience of Oracle database and software solutions, along with experience in implementing Oracle technology adoption.
- Ability to articulate Oracle technology software offerings in the market and discuss architectures.
- Familiarity with Oracle database and ideally some wider knowledge and interest in the wider Oracle technology software portfolio.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to speak comfortably across all levels of management.
- Commercial business understanding, intelligence to identify key trends and business drivers, and leverage them in driving execution within customer.
- Experience in engaging and influencing, ability to build relationships to grow business.
- Act as a partner to our customers, not just a vendor.
- Strong collaboration skills and drive for impact and influence.
