Salary: C£50k - £55k neg dep exp + bonus + pension + benefits

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of the business, with duties split between 60% Quality Management and 40% Health and Safety Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and implement methods to reduce internal and external rejects.
  • Monitor and analyze existing procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and policies.
  • Provide monthly quality figures and recommendations to the management team.
  • Maintain cost of quality figures for display on notice boards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 and stay up-to-date with updates and obligations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for quality and H&S related issues with customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management role in an engineering or manufacturing environment. They will be a skilled communicator at all levels and have a flexible approach to supporting other areas of the business.

Desirable Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience in a high-volume plastic injection moulding, plastic processing, or plastic packaging environment will be advantageous.

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain the appropriate level of trained First Aiders to ensure the company operates legally and ensure training in all relevant areas is maintained.
