Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze existing procedures and implement improvements where possible.
  • Provide monthly quality figures and recommendations to enable the Management team to judge Quality performance.
  • Maintain cost of quality figures for display on the notice boards.
  • Ensure appropriate safety audit procedures are maintained and introduce new audit regimes where required.
  • Maintain compliance to ISO 9000 while staying abreast of updates and advising the company of its obligations as well as the ramifications of non-compliance to both Quality and Health & Safety legislation requirements.
  • Introduce methods along with accountabilities to speed up QA checks while maintaining improved quality performances.
  • Act as the main point of contact with customers and suppliers to ensure any quality and H&S related issues are addressed.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing combined Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management role.
  • Skilled communicator at all levels, ensuring the workforce adhere to relevant company and industry-wide regulations.
  • Flexible approach in supporting other areas of the business as may be required.
  • Demonstrable experience gained within a high-volume plastic injection moulding, plastic processing or plastic packaging environment will be distinctly advantageous.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the appropriate level of trained First Aiders to allow the company to operate legally.
  • Ensure training in all relevant areas is maintained.
