Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze existing procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Provide monthly quality figures and recommendations to the management team to inform quality performance.
  • Maintain cost of quality figures for display on notice boards.
  • Ensure appropriate safety audit procedures are maintained and introduce new audit regimes as required.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9000 and stay up-to-date with updates and advise the company on its obligations and the ramifications of non-compliance with quality and health and safety legislation.
  • Introduce methods to speed up QA checks while maintaining improved quality performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact with customers and suppliers to address quality and health and safety-related issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing combined Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management role.
  • Skilled communicator at all levels to ensure the workforce adheres to relevant company and industry-wide regulations.
  • Flexible approach to supporting other areas of the business as required.
  • Demonstrable experience in a high-volume plastic injection molding, plastic processing, or plastic packaging environment is advantageous.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the appropriate level of trained First Aiders to allow the company to operate legally.
  • Ensure training in all relevant areas is maintained.
