Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Runcorn / Widnes

Salary: C£50k - £55k neg dep exp + bonus + pension + benefits

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is a leading provider of technical recruitment services, and we are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of the business, with duties including:

  • Investigating and implementing methods to reduce internal and external rejects
  • Monitoring and analysing existing procedures and implementing improvements
  • Ensuring adherence to all company procedures and policies
  • Providing regular quality reports and recommendations to the management team
  • Maintaining cost of quality figures and ensuring compliance with ISO 9000
  • Investigating and implementing improvements to gauging and quality control processes
  • Acting as the main point of contact for quality and health and safety related issues

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a quality, health and safety, and environmental management role, and will be a skilled communicator with the ability to work at all levels. Demonstrable experience in a high-volume plastic injection moulding, plastic processing, or plastic packaging environment is highly desirable.

Other responsibilities will include maintaining the appropriate level of trained First Aiders and ensuring training in all relevant areas is maintained.
