About the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO)
The WWSO is an integral part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), dedicated to enhancing revenue, adoption, and growth across a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to large enterprises, including the public sector.

Our approach centers on understanding and addressing our customers' most pressing challenges, allowing us to formulate and implement go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into substantial business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the go-to-market strategy and execution for AI/ML and GenAI in the UKI region, collaborating with various teams including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge in the AIML domain to identify and address critical customer issues in your area, empowering account-aligned teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at expanding market reach, creating scalable initiatives to boost adoption, and uncovering new opportunities within your field.
  • Establish and pursue objectives that foster long-term growth in your region while achieving or surpassing both revenue and non-revenue KPIs.
  • Collect and relay customer insights and market trends to global teams to prioritize the development of essential features and services.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews and operational plans tailored to your technology domain and geographical area.
  • Enhance geographical outreach through partnerships; collaborate with cross-functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training to implement customer acquisition strategies.

This role is part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team within WWSO, where you will spearhead the GTM strategy for AWS's AI/ML and GenAI initiatives in the UKI region. We develop sales strategies, leverage partnerships, and create innovative programs that drive customer success.
