Spa Operations Assistant / Spa Lifeguard

Center Parcs is renowned for its exceptional spa experiences, combining a variety of treatments and wellness offerings. Each Aqua Sana spa is uniquely crafted, featuring a minimum of 15 distinct experience rooms for guests to enjoy. Our extensive menu includes a wide range of facial and body treatments, delivered by skilled therapists using premium products from leading brands such as Elemis and VOYA.

Aqua Sana is a favored destination, welcoming both guests residing at Center Parcs and external visitors seeking a Spa Day, Luxury Spa Break, or specialized treatments.

SPA OPERATIONS ASSISTANT / SPA LIFEGUARD | £12.46 per hour

As a Spa Operations Assistant at Aqua Sana, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe, pristine, and luxurious atmosphere for our clientele. You will engage with guests, striving to surpass their expectations through outstanding service. Lifeguard responsibilities and maintaining the tranquil ambiance of the spa will be essential components of your role. Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance within the spa will be a daily task.

Candidates must possess the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) to be eligible for this position.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete a swim assessment.

WORKING HOURS

You will be contracted for 32 hours over a 4-week period on a flexible schedule. This means your working days and hours may vary weekly, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours. Shifts will primarily occur on weekends.

Given that our village operates year-round, your working hours will include weekends, public holidays, and potentially during festive periods on a rotational basis.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will be approachable and naturally service-oriented, possessing excellent communication skills. You should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a close-knit team.

Essential qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication abilities
  • Effective time management and meticulous attention to detail
  • Current IWS / RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (training may be provided)
  • Ability to foster relationships at all levels
  • Friendly, sincere, and warm demeanor towards guests and colleagues
  • Proficient in time management and capable of using initiative and teamwork

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a spa setting
  • Knowledge of pool plant operations
  • First Aid certification
  • Prior experience as a lifeguard
