McCarthy Stone is seeking a dedicated Care and Support Assistant to become part of our exceptional team. This role is essential in providing top-notch care to our residents, ensuring they enjoy a fulfilling and comfortable lifestyle.

Compensation: £11.96 per hour, with opportunities for additional earnings.

Working Hours: 20 hours per week.

Role Overview: As a Care and Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional individual care to our residents, helping them to thrive in their later years. Your duties will encompass housekeeping and domestic support throughout the estate, including cleaning apartments. You will engage with residents, encouraging their participation in various activities that promote their health and well-being. Additionally, you will assist them in scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and providing support during outings and shopping trips. Each day will bring new challenges, allowing you to utilize your interpersonal skills to make a significant impact.

Candidate Profile:

  • A warm and friendly demeanor, with experience in a care or support setting preferred.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the well-being and happiness of older adults, along with a collaborative spirit in a dynamic work environment.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • A desire to work within the Health and Social Care sector, ideally holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, though candidates with relevant experience and alternative qualifications will also be considered.
