About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our Financial Services Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of financial plans that meet the strategic goals of The Very Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in developing strategic business plans and financial models. They will be able to work closely with senior management to identify key business drivers and develop financial plans that meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of Five Year Plans, Budgets, and Rolling Forecasts.
  • Develop financial models that are fit for purpose, with a focus on financial control, data integrity, and compliance with financial accounting standards.
  • Provide commercial insight and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Work closely with management to develop business cases and provide financial modelling support.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to regulatory requirements and business targets.
About You
  • A qualified accountant or part-qualified applicant with exceptional skills and experience.
  • Strong financial modelling experience and technical skills.
  • A self-starter with excellent stakeholder relationships and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a complex and demanding business environment.
