Coleman Street, United Kingdom Hire Ground Full time

Hire Ground is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our HR Department, you will work closely with our existing HR Team to ensure the smooth running of our monthly payroll process, which is outsourced. Your responsibilities will include checking payroll and post reports to ensure compliance requirements are met, both for the UK and EU, including overseeing Pay Gap reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification and at least 5 years of experience working at HR Manager level in a professional services environment. You will have experience dealing with contentious HR issues, excellent problem-solving skills, and a good working knowledge of payroll and benefits. Additionally, you will have a good working knowledge of UK employment law and be able to build and maintain constructive relationships with individuals, both internally and externally.

We are looking for someone who can work effectively both as a team player and independently with initiative. You will need to be able to stay calm in often demanding situations and work well under pressure. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail are also essential. Knowledge of German and/or Spanish employment law would be beneficial but is not required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing policies and procedures, updating our Staff Handbook to reflect changes in employment law, and managing the recruitment and retention process. You will also be responsible for the induction process, monitoring performance, and overseeing the appraisals process. Additionally, you will handle contentious HR issues, including disciplinary processes and grievances, and work on new HR projects.

We offer a very competitive salary, excellent benefits, and hybrid working arrangements. If you are a motivated and experienced HR professional looking for a new challenge, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
