Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our senior management team. As the right-hand person to our Founder/Director/Head Beekeeper, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of our business and development. This will include responsibility for the company's day-to-day operations, supplies, and planning, as well as staff line management, coaching, and mentoring, finance, HR, and compliance with company and employment law and data protection regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of business and development, including day-to-day operations, supplies, and planning
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, including line management, coaching, and mentoring
  • Oversee finance, HR, and compliance with company and employment law and data protection regulations
  • Work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement business strategies
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and partnerships

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in a business development or operations management capacity
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
