About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and deliver project works, including the coordination of sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the internal design team and external consultants to ensure that all design and construction activities are aligned and that the project is delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that all expenses are properly authorized and that the project is delivered within budget.
  • Ensure that all site documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and that all necessary reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
Requirements
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold inspection qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
