Job Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Site Manager in the management of construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan, budget, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the project.
  • Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed and that the site is maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
