About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works, and day-to-day management and delivery of a larger scale housing project.

The successful candidate will have a solid build background and be able to support the Site Manager with the successful delivery of this design and build site to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works
  • Manage sub-contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress
  • Follow Vistry site procedures and maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly site paperwork as is required to be audit compliant
  • Involved with the management of internal/external design team/consultants to meet project deadlines
  • Produce and regularly review short-term programmes in line with the overall project programme to ensure completion on time

Requirements

  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold inspection qualification
  • Self-sufficient, able to work independently and deliver projects with some support from visiting Contracts Manager
