Position Overview: Onboard Host

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Onboard Host. This position involves working on TransPennine Express trains, ensuring a premium service experience for our passengers.

Work Schedule: Full Time (40 hours) & Part Time (weekends only).
Shifts: Rotational shifts between 5 am and midnight, including some weekends.
Compensation: £12.00 per hour plus commission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 'at seat trolley service' on TPE trains, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and processing transactions.
  • Travel on designated trains, assist passengers, achieve sales objectives independently, and fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock and transactions, comply with hygiene and safety regulations, and support management initiatives.
  • Perform duties at the Service Centre as required, engaging with passengers, providing information, and addressing various needs while offering accurate details on services, ticketing, platforms, and potential disruptions.
  • Eligible to claim up to 50 rover tickets for the TPE network for family and friends.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to perform certain tasks or work specific shifts.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.
