Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive business management and service development support to the Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director of Public Health. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining a wide range of administrative and support services, ensuring effective communication processes, and acting as a liaison between the Director's office and other parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide business management and service development support to the Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director of Public Health.
  • Design, develop, and maintain administrative and support services, including coordination and production of materials.
  • Establish effective communication processes and act as a liaison between the Director's office and other parties.
  • Assist the Public Health Business Manager in the smooth running of the department, deputizing to lead, manage, and develop the administrative and clerical function.
  • Project a positive, professional image for the Director and their Department, acting as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A degree in Business Administration or equivalent administrative experience.An extensive range of secretarial, administrative, and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a pragmatic and common sense approach.The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, working autonomously with minimal direction.Minute-taking experience and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.

Working Arrangements

A hybrid model of working will be supported.
