Occupational Therapist Paediatric Community Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Paediatric Community Team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualised programmes of care to meet the needs of clients
- Work collaboratively with children, families, and professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
- Provide specialist knowledge and expertise in paediatric occupational therapy, including assessments and interventions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service pathways and protocols
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of the service
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent overseas qualification
- Postgraduate experience in paediatric occupational therapy
- Specialist knowledge of paediatric conditions, including DCD, cerebral palsy, autism, and sensory processing needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
