We are seeking a Membership Coordinator to become part of our team at 67 Pall Mall for a short-term contract.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional eager to advance their career within a vibrant team.

The venue is a stunningly designed establishment featuring custom tableware and one of the most extensive wine selections in the country.

Role Overview

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about joining a private members' club and excels in communication through various channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. With the assistance of the Membership Assistant and the Head of Department, you will be responsible for a range of membership activities, from administrative tasks to conducting personalized tours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating membership retention during renewal periods by managing the membership inbox and addressing feedback and inquiries from members.
  • Conducting both outbound and inbound communications with members throughout the renewal phase.
  • Gaining proficiency in systems such as Jonas, Seven Rooms, and the website to maintain organized member lists.
  • Assisting the Membership Assistant with updates for both new and existing members during peak times.
  • Segmenting membership groups and reaching out to current members through mail merges.
  • Providing real-time updates during renewals using Airtable and demonstrating strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Promoting the club's values and occasionally guiding prospective members on tours of the facility.
  • Being flexible to undertake additional tasks as needed to meet business requirements.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in administrative roles or within membership organizations.
  • Background in customer support is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with membership operations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a demanding workload effectively.
  • Results-driven mindset, capable of working independently and demonstrating initiative.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the mission of 67 Pall Mall in the wine community, understanding the unique landscape of membership clubs.
