Job Title: Head of Purchasing

This is an exciting opportunity to join The ONE Group Ltd as a highly experienced Head of Purchasing with a background in Engineering, including exposure to electronics components. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the global supply chain strategy for the business, ensuring maximum value to all stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals to negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, driving innovation and cost savings.
  • Develop and implement procurement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of reducing costs and improving supply chain efficiency.
  • Experience of offshore contract manufacturing management and global supplier relationships.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction to the team.
  • Ability to remain informed when dealing with large volumes of information and prioritize issues within a complex organization.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Team player with excellent attention to detail and ability to work with stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
  • Prepared to travel internationally, with a full, clean driving license and own car.
