Job Overview:
This position involves providing essential support to a young adult facing challenges related to autism and sensory processing. The role is designed to enhance the individual's independence and ensure a safe environment while engaging in enjoyable activities.
Location: Kings Lynn PE30
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the individual in daily activities to promote independence.
- Engage in leisure activities, including interests such as gaming.
- Ensure safety and well-being during all interactions.
Candidate Profile:
- Must be responsible and reliable.
- Flexibility in working hours is essential.
- Should possess a youthful spirit with shared interests.
- Experience with autism and learning disabilities is preferred.
Terms and Conditions:
- Hourly rate: £12 per hour.
- Work hours: Up to 8 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
- Free training opportunities available for employed staff.
- Annual holiday entitlement equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks of work.
Requirements:
- Completion of a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, funded by the employer.
- Two satisfactory references, including one from the most recent employer.
- Successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
