Job Title: Registered Manager - Residential Care

We are seeking an experienced and quality-focused Registered Manager to lead our residential care home in Reading, providing exceptional care to older people with dementia.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in older people or dementia care homes, with a strong track record of staff management and a deep understanding of CQC regulations and health and social care legislation.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £40,000 and will be responsible for delivering outstanding person-centred care, achieving high-quality outcomes, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and services
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of residents
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve high-quality outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Preferred)
  • Prior experience as Registered Manager or Deputy of older people or dementia care homes
  • Strong staff management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation, and regulatory requirements
