Location: London and surrounding areas

Position Overview:
The URC Thames North Synod is seeking a dedicated Child Protection Coordinator to oversee safeguarding initiatives within our community. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures.
2. Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on safeguarding matters.
3. Collaborate with external agencies to promote best practices in child protection.
4. Monitor and review safeguarding practices to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess relevant experience in safeguarding or child protection, along with strong communication and organizational skills. A commitment to promoting a safe environment for all is essential.
