Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Work Practitioner to join our Family Support and Child Protection team at NonStop Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our social workers in the Child Protection and Family Support locality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to social workers in the Child Protection and Family Support locality teams.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to child protection and family support.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and learning opportunities for social workers.
  • Participate in practice development and delivery, including the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Extensive post-qualifying social work experience, including experience in child protection and family support.
  • Strong knowledge of social work legislation and policies, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to children and families.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
