Job Description

Job Opportunity: Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school-based environment, supporting children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, and SE, in a 2 Form Entry Primary School setting.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of children with SEN.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group work to help children access the curriculum.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
