Job Overview

In the role of Senior Electrical Engineering Consultant within RINA's Asset and Product Consulting (APC) Business Line, you will spearhead and execute consultancy projects for electrical plant assets, including transformers, switchgear, and rotating machinery. Collaborating with industry specialists, you will develop innovative solutions and contribute to the enhancement of our technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities


• Consultancy Leadership:
o Oversee and execute engineering consultancy projects, ensuring exceptional results within established timelines and budgets.
o Collaborate with project team members and mentor junior consultants to elevate their technical and consulting expertise.
o Assist in the advancement of RINA's Asset Integrity-related services.


• Business Development:
o Work alongside the Business Development team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
o Contribute to consultancy proposals, including client engagement, technical strategy, and pricing.


• Industry Engagement:
o Present at seminars and conferences to uphold RINA's leadership in industry advancements.
o Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders in the petrochemical and renewable energy sectors.


• Technical Expertise:
o Utilize your knowledge in asset design/assurance, condition assessment, and failure investigation.
o Ensure the safe and professional operation of laboratory equipment.

Competencies


• Extensive experience with transformers, switchgear, and electrical rotating machinery.

• Proven skills in project delivery, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budget constraints.

• Strong client relationship management and business development experience.

• Excellent technical report writing abilities.

• Willingness to travel and work on-site globally (10-25% travel time).
