Our projects vary significantly, ranging from £5k to £15m, where we take on the roles of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, while also supporting our esteemed Tier 1 contractor clients in subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacities.
Role Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to assist installation teams with planned and reactive fault diagnosis, basic commissioning, panel modifications, and addressing technical queries at the site level. This position involves effective communication with various departments within the organization and liaising with clients. It offers diverse exposure to different facets of the water industry, presenting a challenging environment on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Work contracted for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hourly pay and overtime compensation.
- Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
- All necessary power tools and testing instruments will be supplied.
- Engage in various types of Low Voltage electrical work.
- Possess a reasonable understanding of mechanical systems.
- Conduct NICEIC Testing.
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics without drawings and support.
- Execute panel and circuit modifications without drawings and support.
- Commission various equipment relevant to the water sector.
- Collaborate with Systems Integrators for commissioning and modifications.
- Navigate HMI/SCADA systems effectively.
- Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safe working conditions.
