Job Overview

In the role of Senior Electrical Engineering Consultant, you will spearhead and execute consultancy projects for electrical plant assets, which include transformers, switchgear, and rotating machinery. Collaborating with industry experts, you will develop innovative solutions and contribute to the enhancement of our technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities


• Consultancy Leadership:
o Oversee and deliver engineering consultancy projects, guaranteeing high-quality outcomes within specified timelines and budgets.
o Work alongside project team members and mentor junior consultants to improve their technical and consulting proficiencies.
o Assist in the growth of RINA's Asset Integrity-related services.


• Business Development:
o Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
o Contribute to consultancy proposals, which include client engagement, technical strategies, and pricing.


• Industry Engagement:
o Represent RINA at seminars and conferences to uphold our leadership in industry advancements.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the petrochemical and renewable energy industries.


• Technical Expertise:
o Utilize your knowledge in asset design/assurance, condition assessment, and failure analysis.
o Ensure the safe and professional operation of laboratory equipment.

Competencies


• Extensive experience with transformers, switchgear, and electrical rotating machinery.

• Proven skills in project delivery, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budgets.

• Strong experience in client relationship management and business development.

• Excellent technical report writing abilities.

• Willingness to travel and work on-site globally (10-25% travel time).
